For me, a good photograph starts with seeing.

What makes a building or space special? How does it relate to its surroundings? How is it used? And what does the client want to communicate?

I take the time to get to know a location. I look for simplicity, rhythm, and a composition where everything feels right. Sometimes that means moving a few steps to one side, sometimes waiting for the light to change. And if necessary, I'll come back a few more times.

Before we start, we discuss what's important and what the photographs should convey. From there, I look for the images that tell that story best. Sometimes exactly as we imagined, sometimes with a welcome surprise.
